Applications are now open for the Trinity SMF and Code First Girls Beginners Coding Course. Applications will close on midnight Sunday the 22nd of September.
To be eligible to apply for the free university course you must identify as a woman/non-binary, be a student and a member of the Student Managed Fund society at Trinity and have a working laptop.
This course is for complete beginners who haven’t taken any Code First: Girls courses before. No prior coding / computing knowledge is required.
CF:G courses last 8 weeks and take place for 2 hours from 6.30-8.30pm on Monday evenings. Students who complete the course (including the course competition assignment) will receive a Code First: Girls certificate.
Course Dates: Monday 30th September – Monday 18th November. Please note, this course has a break on Monday 21st October (Reading Week), where there will not be a session. Please also take time to ensure you are available on these dates before applying.
The course will run as follows: Semester 1 Intro to Web Development & Semester 2 Python.
