Basil Geoghegan is a Partner at PJT Partners. Mr. Geoghegan joined PJT Partners in 2015 with 20 years of investment banking experience at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup. He was most recently the Citi Head of Ireland Investment Banking.
Mr. Geoghegan has extensive UK, Irish, US and international expertise, including asset swaps, inversions, reverse mergers, public offers, government sales, LBOs, auctions, debt sales, joint ventures, anti-raid defence and unsolicited offers. Mr. Geoghegan has advised numerous clients on equity raising in both private and public markets. Mr. Geoghegan received a LL.B. from Trinity College, Dublin and an LL.M. from European University Institute
John Harrington is a Director in the Strategic Advisory Group at PJT Partners. John joined PJT Partners in September 2015 from UBS, where he served as a Director.
Mr. Harrington has worked on a range of M&A and capital markets transactions over more than ten years. During his time with UBS, John spent two years working in the New York office, with the remainder spent working in London. Prior to joining UBS, John began his career in Dublin with KPMG’s Corporate Finance team.
John received a BComm and Master of Accounting from University College Dublin. John is a Chartered Accountant.
